A Look At Night Club Themes And Genres
Light Up Clubs Light up clubs are quickly gaining popularity in the United States. These clubs feature glow in the dark materials and black lights so that everything within the club is given an eerie and other-worldly appearance. Individuals who go to light up clubs may deck themselves out in glowing necklaces and bracelets or cover themselves in special paint that is only visible under a black light. Often, the drinks and food items served at these clubs are also designed to fit in with the light up theme. Fetish Clubs Clubs that require patrons to wear leather or rubber may be referred to as fetish clubs. Typically, these clubs are only present in the largest metropolises of the United States. Some fetish clubs may have different rooms which feature different sexual fetishes. For example, one room may be devoted to foot fetishes and patrons may be required to remove their footwear before gaining access to that particular room. Another room may feature female dominance, leather, rubber, or even cross dressing. Sexual Preference Clubs Clubs that cater to individuals of a specific sexual preference are sometimes referred to as Gay Clubs or Lesbian clubs. These clubs provide a safe and judgment-free atmosphere for individuals of a specific sexual preference to meet new people and form new relationships. Fantasy or Costume Clubs Costume clubs can be a lot of fun for individuals who like to shed their typical identities and don the outfit of a famous character or historical figure. Costume clubs allow admittance only to individuals who are wearing an elaborate costume. Sometimes, costume clubs have specific nightly themes such as storybook characters, movie characters, London, or masquerade themes. These clubs may feature period dancing such as ballroom dancing and are generally designed for couples or else specifically designed as a mixer for single individuals. The emphasis, however, is usually on providing interaction between two members of opposite sex. Techno or Trance Clubs The trance club is often one of the most misunderstood and strange-seeming clubs in the United States. A trance club is generally characterized by a large number of bodies packed closely together and gyrating to an exorbitantly loud, pulsating musical track. The music at a trance club is not designed to have any specific tune or melody. Instead, it is very rhythmic and is designed to give club attendees a beat at which to jump and move. Trance clubs are known to attract clientele that use various illicit substances and are seeking out a place to experience a high. However, not all of the consumers who visit trance clubs are using illicit drugs or illegal substances. Some consumers simply visit trance clubs because they want to experience something out of the ordinary or let off some steam after a long work week. Comments for this post are closed |
